Dyan and Ted were married on a private balcony at BOA Steakhouse, Las Vegas, overlooking the lights of the Las Vegas Strip. One of my favorite things about Dyan and Ted was their complete commitment to the idea that you could host a beautiful, elegant affair in Las Vegas while still including a few signature Vegas style points. From the black linens and towering floral arrangements (Botanica Las Vegas) to the retro-style DJ and surprise Elvis, this wedding was a perfect marriage of Dyan’s New York sensibility and Ted’s love of Sin City. I am proud to share some of their personal photos and their love note with you, and honored to call them friends!
Ted & I just wanted to say thank you for everything you did to make our wedding so amazing for us! We cannot praise you enough! If it weren’t for you, my wedding would have been just another affair at a (probably cheesy) chapel. From moving the ceremony to making sure that our flowers were exactly what I wanted and that our photographer got the perfect shot, we could not have asked for anything more. The food and service was amazing, and everyone had a great time with the DJ and our surprise Elvis!
AND, more importantly, with my strong, high maintenance, type-A personality, you managed me perfectly and never made me feel like I was bothering you or taking up too much of your time. You were never “just” my wedding planner, and that’s why I will always love you!! You put me at ease and I couldn’t have been happier. My wedding was everything I had wanted and dreamed of, from the beautiful sunset ceremony to the delicious food, I couldn’t have done it better myself. That’s HUGE in my book!
(You being from NY too played no part in my decision at all…ok, maybe a little…)
Can’t wait to see you next year on our anniversary!
