Las Vegas Wedding Planner Andrea Eppolito featured as one of the Muses of Matrimony!
I have been thinking about it, talking about it, Tweeting about it…And now that the photos are finally here I can finally share the vignette Andrea Eppolito Events presented during the Muses of Matrimony showcase presented by ISES. To give you some background, The International Special Events Society is a peer network of event professionals made up of every discipline imaginable. ISES hosted a wedding showcase during the most recent CaterSource Convention, with a focus on Wedding Planning and Design. To be invited by them to participate as a one of the Muses of Matrimony was truly an honor and a privilege. To know that I would be showcasing my work in front of event professionals from around the world…That was a strange mix of exhilarating and nerve-wracking!
For months I went back and forth in my mind about what I wanted to present. One night after reviewing some of my favorite past events and watching Dangerous Beauty (one of my favorite love stories) I woke up inspired by all things Italian, rustic, Renaissance, and romantic! I immediately called the always amazing Randi of Naakiti Floral Design (who herself presented an insanely breathtaking tableau inspired by Indian Weddings) who had offered to partner with me and told her my idea. We debated colors, textures, living sculptures and more. My two non-negotiables were that there be a weathered gate welcoming guests into the ceremony, and that the table be set as a hollow square to ensure that all guests would see one another and share in a true Tuscan family style meal!
What guests experienced when they walked through the door was amazing! First, the ceremony. A large, hand forged gate of wrought flanked by pillars dripping with roses and ivy welcome them into the ceremony. The aisle was marked with alternating cyprus trees and floating candles as rich jewel toned rose petals lead the way to an old-world alter topped simply with an antique candelabra.
The reception table was set to perfection! A classic hallowed square draped in rich tapestry of burgundy and gold, with gold beaded chargers, goblets, and candles in perfectly matched burgundy wax! And the “centerpiece” ~ Only a living, breathing statue of David!
Now, if you have been reading my blog and following my work, you know that I am a sucker for behind the scenes photos! Here are a mix of pics from the moderately talented yours truly wielding my iPhone along side gorgeous portraits taken by the immensely talented John Cooper of Alt F!
Thank you again to my partners and friends at Naakiti Floral, Hyde Bellagio, Brian Derck Marketing & Design, Sit on This, Dress My Walls, Emma Cammack, Paper & Home, and Alt F!
Enjoy!
